The course opened in 2011 and was designed by Jeff Lawrence, working under Gary Player's Black Knight Design subsidiary.
Has Wildstone Golf Course been ranked among Canada's best courses?
Wildstone has earned consistent national recognition since opening. It has appeared on SCOREGolf's Top 100 Golf Courses in Canada and their Top 59 Public Courses list multiple times, most recently ranking 39th among Canada's top public courses in 2025. Golf Digest's Senior Architecture Editor Ron Whitten called it his favourite round of the year upon opening, specifically praising the strategy and scenery of the par-5 9th and par-4 17th holes.
What type of grass does Wildstone Golf Course use and what are the course conditions like?
Wildstone features A4/T1 Bentgrass greens and Kentucky Bluegrass fairways, a premium combination that delivers consistent, high-quality playing conditions throughout the season.
